Welcome to the blog that has all the info that you need for attending the 2017 Mount Pleasant Summer Jam Sessions. Have you been slowly teaching yourself how to play an instrument, or once you have learned how to play well, ever wondered, "How do I move from playing tunes alone in my living room to playing tunes with other people?" Do you have a passing familiarity with Celtic tunes or Greek folk music? Do you have a desire to learn simple, sharable tunes while meeting new people in your neighbourhood? Then this event is for you. What exactly are the Summer Jam Sessions about? A bunch of neighbours getting together to play acoustic music together, learn new songs from each other, and share their culture. This is an event that is welcoming both to those who have never played music with others before, as well as experienced session players wanting a local jam night.
